Rodney Bashford

Rodney C. Bashford is an attorney with Jamie M. Trapp & Associates, concentrating his practice on construction negligence, transportation negligence, premises liability, and serious personal injury matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bashford graduated from Carthage College (Magna Cum Laude) and Loyola University. He then attending the University of Melbourne Law School in Australia and practiced as a barrister and solicitor for two years in Melbourne, Australia.

Mr. Bashford is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and is admitted to practice in Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bashford worked as a defense attorney in Chicago, where he specialized in the defense of construction, transportation, product liability, premises liability, and medical malpractice cases. He had taken several significant cases to verdict and won several disparities motions in State and Federal Court. He brings a new and unique outlook to his clients' cases.
